Every year we carefully prepare high-end gift bags to present to our guests at the Golden Globes. And every year we have a surplus — maybe because we are extra careful in making sure we have enough for all to enjoy at the event. Finding new recipients for the surplus bags is an added joy and a way of giving back to our community. This year the women and men serving at Camp Pendleton enjoyed the stylish bags, briefcases and their luxe contents… and sent us this lovely letter:
Thank you to the Hollywood Foreign Press for the generous sponsorship of the Golden Globe gift bags. We have been distributing the Golden Globe gift bags to Marines and I have attached a couple of photos from a recent event at which they were distributed to Marines who have been particularly active in leadership and in providing support for their fellow Marines. All of these Marines have been deployed to Iraq and/or Afghanistan.
