One of our own, Italian journalist Silvia Bizio, is rocking the Roma Film Festival… as a producer. Through her LA-based production company,  OH!PEN, Bizio and her partner Paola Porrini Bisson produced the short The Night Shift Belongs to the Stars (Il turno di notte lo fanno le stelle), directed by Edoardo Ponti (son of Sophia Loren and Carlo Ponti).

The story of a lonely man, his friend– a married woman—and their determination to climb a peak in the Dolomites range in noth-eastern Italy, Night Shift was written by Erri de Luca and stars Nastassja Kinski, Julian Sands and Enrico Lo Verso.

The Night Shift Belongs to the Stars premiered on November 10 at the Rome Film Festival.
