Pablove Shutterbugs, which every year receives a grant from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, hosted an inaugural five-day photography summer camp July 23-27. Nineteen students participated in the weeklong event, held at The Julia Dean Photo Workshops in Hollywood. Among other things the Shutterbugs learned about perspective, light and composition, diptychs and triptychs and basic techniques of photography.
The charitable organisation, which teaches children living with cancer to develop their creative voice through the art of photography, will soon be debuting a line of greeting cards featuring student photography. The first set of 12 cards will showcase flowers shot by students, and will be available in time for the holiday season.
