An unforgettable Pixar night at the Hollywood Bowl

PIxar at the Hollywood Bowl

On August 4, close to 18.000 animation fans celebrated the art and music of animation studio Pixar at a one-time-only event at the Hollywood Bowl in Hollywood.

While film clips played on a large screen, a live orchestra played score compositions of such Pixar films as Toy Story, Cars, Monsters Inc and many others.

The highlight of the evening was no doubt the screening and performance of the opening sequence of Up! – leaving many in the audience teary eyed.

“This proves the power of music in film,” said one animator of rival studio Dreamworks Animation. “This is why we love our art!”
