The Hollywood Foreign Press has been nominated for an Emmy award for its Golden Globes show, which aired on NBC on January 15 and was hosted by Ricky Gervais.
The nomination, in the Outstanding Special Class Programs, is shared with Dick Clark Productions Inc. It is the third nomination for the Globes, the previous two having come in 2007 and last year.
HFPA president D.r Aida Takla-O’Reilly c0mmmented: “It’s a great acknowledgment to all the dedicated members who worked passionately on the Golden Globes and all the participants on and off stage.”
It was the HFPA’s 69th Golden Globe awards and one of the most star-studded ever.
