Guest of honor Andy Garcia was the speaker at standing- room-only master class, moderated by HFPA vice president Jorge Camara at the Guadalajara film festival.
The actor-director talked about his motivation and struggle to make the movie The Lost City, about his Cuban homeland. He directed, produced, composed the music and starred in the movie, set at the time of the revolution. The film focuses on a family and the effects the violent changes have on its members.
