Founded in 1981 by Robert Redford, the Sundance Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing emerging filmmakers through year-long programs around the world and to providing a platform for them to present their works – the Sundance Film Festival. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association is proud to be an annual supporter of the Sundance Institute and every year several members attend to meet up-and-coming filmmakers.
