Controversial British comic Ricky Gervais, who ruffled feathers with some of his comments while hosting last year’s Golden Globe awards, has promised he will deliver more of the same when he returns for Sunday’s show.
“They have got to know I am going to do the same again,” he told the BBC.”It’s a huge world audience and an amazing opportunity to end your career in one fell swoop. That’s all I do this year—things that could possibly end my career.
“They can expect the same as last year with different —I nearly said targets—different subjects and different jokes.
“Maybe they might be a little bit more chilled out about it this year. Or not. Whatever. I don’t care.”
