When he is not making movies Billy Bob Thornton, who began his performing career playing drums and singing with a band, is still deeply involved in music and he is recording a new album with his band The Boxmasters.
“It’s an album of what we call acid songs—very moody and spooky-sounding,” he told HFPA members.
The 55-year-old actor, who has a new movie Faster, about to be released, also has a new single coming out in the New Year.
With the Boxmasters he released two albums in 2008 and another one last year.
