“You’re looking at unemployment,” he joked with HFPA members. “I get mistaken for Jesus Christ or Charles Manson.”
The 36-year-old actor, who portrays real-life ex-boxer and former crack addict Dicky Eklund in the movie, won’t be out of work for much longer. He is due to begin work in the New Year on the next Batman adventure, The Dark Knight Rises although, he says, he knows nothing about the storyline.
“Chris Nolan will tell me what I need to know when he thinks I need to know it,” he says.
